In the beautiful artistic framework of Marseille, international partners participated to the first meeting of HeArts of Youth project, from the 24th to the 27th of October 2023.
This new and promising project will focus on the use of art and dance therapy for the inclusion and support of marginalised youth by youth workers, focusing especially on young migrants.
During the first day of the meeting, partners have had the opportunity to confront on the steps that will be taken during the next two years of the project: deciding common strategies, choosing the best channels to share the future results of the project, and all every other minute detail of the following months of activities.
From the second day, instead, trainers participating to the mobility learned innovative techniques of art and dance therapy, ready to later trickle down these new skills to other youth workers and experts participating in the next steps of the project.
Eventually, these techniques will take life through several workshops that will involve young migrants in each partner’s country.
The next step for the project will see participants travel to Cyprus for the next meeting, where the hosting partner will show everybody their expertise in supporting migrant youth at risk of exclusion.
